A big illustration for a celebratory line of suits

A big illustration for a celebratory line of suits commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Slater Menswear.

We were approached to develop a design to be used on the lining of these special suits. Slater Menswear wanted to make their iconic building in Glasgow the focus of this, so we set out to create a line drawing illustration that picked up on all of the building’s key features, in a minimalist style to allow all those lines to do the work.

Getting the perspective right, appearing face on from a position where you cannot get a photo was the initial challenge. Stitching a number of images together and creating a perspective grid got us to the start line. Pleased with the final outcome!
